About Me
I was born and raised in Los Angeles County, CA, Encino to be exact. I graduated from 6 years of college in 1978, earning degrees in psychology and neuroscience. I eventually studied hypnosis for 10 months at the Hypnosis Motivation Institute in Tarzana CA, graduated in 2000, and have since used hypnosis within my therapy sessions in order to achieve faster and longer lasting results.
It was in 2005 that YouTube was created and shortly after anyone can learn how to hypnotize someone by watching several YouTube videos. But be warned that these non-medical hypnotists have been falsely taught that they can cure someone of a serious mental, emotional or physical issue by simply telling them that they will be cured on the count of three, every time they take a sip of water, or whenever they see specific colors, and you can find these hypnotists on YouTube.
These techniques are frightening and often backfire, causing them to be sued. Luckily, most of these non-medical hypnotists keep their talents for comedy stages and free demos at beaches and parks, while leaving clients with serious issues to us real medical professionals.
I have volunteered at Kaiser Permanente hospital in Los Angeles, especially for cancer patients, the Grossman burn center which used to be in Sherman Oaks for burn patients, the VA center in West Los Angeles for PTSD and depression clients, and various drug rehab centers offering hypnosis sessions to overcome and eliminate their addictions.
Ever since I was born, until he retired, my dad worked for a water company called Sparkletts and therefore, I grew up drinking mostly water. And it was also because of his words of wisdom, that I also never drank alcohol, smoked cigarettes, took drugs or meds, and it is probably because of these choices that I have never been sick, never even been to a doctor.
My mom, on the other hand, was a legal secretary, meaning she worked for an attorney, read lots of self-help books, and also had words of wisdom that kept us kids focusing on optimism and the positive.
I mentioned my parents because I wanted you to know that it was a combination of both of their words of wisdom that made me a better psychologist than any teacher, professor or school can teach.
It was in 2020, during the covid crisis, that I left L.A. and moved north in order to care for my aging parents who have since passed away. This was when I started offering virtual sessions, whether it be to talk with a retired psychologist or to experience hypnosis.
All of my clients, both individuals and corporates, are kept strictly confidential. Some have high-profiles and I don't kiss and tell, as the saying goes. Not even my closest friends know who my clients are or the issues I have helped them with. This is why you don't see a list of clients on my website or videos of my sessions posted all over social media.
Payment is only after you have a session where you have successfully entered hypnosis. It is only then when you may pay me through PayPal, the preferred secured payment method in every developed country.
