clinical-hypnosis.jpgMy Experience

I got my degree in psychology in 1978 and much later I studied hypnosis at the Hypnosis Motivation Institute in Tarzana California for 10 months, graduating in 2000.

Born and raised in Los Angeles county, Encino to be exact, it was at the start of the COVID crisis in 2020 that I moved 140 miles north, near Bakersfield, in order to care for my aging parents who have since passed away. It was then that I changed my website to offer virtual sessions to my existing Los Angeles clients as well as new clients worldwide.

My specialty is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, CBT, which is a form of talk therapy, which I use before every hypnosis session which helps me create a set of hypnotically motivated words to use, should you wish to be hypnotized, in order to create the longest lasting results.

Think of CBT as creating various role playing scenarios that will help you see negative situations from your past and present in a more positive light, which will help you feel and react more positively should the previous negative scenarios ever surface again.

Please note, I am not and I have never been a comedy stage hypnotist. Everything I do is strictly for medical purposes. Hypnotists with no medical training are warned to keep their talents to strictly entertainment purposes only, mainly because their training consists of telling their clients ridiculous comments like they will be cured at the count of three, or every time they take a sip of water, or when they see specific colors.
